IN ALL THINGS ……. PRAY
The greatest privlege God gives to you is the freedom to approach Him at any time. You are not only authorized to speak to Him; you are invited. You are not only permitted; you are expected. God waits for you to communicate with Him. You have instant, direct access to God. God loves mankind so much, and in a very special sense His children, that He has made Himself available to you at all times.

• Yes, I thought you'd never ask.
• Yes, and here's more.
• No, not yet.
• No, I love you too much.
We forget that God sometimes has to say No. We pray to Him as our heavenly Father, and like wise human fathers, He often says, No, from wisdom and from love, and knowing what is best for us.
Prayer is talking with God and telling Him you love Him, conversing with God about all the things that are important in life, both large and small, and being assured that He is listening. Children do not find it difficult or complicated to talk to their parents, nor do they feel embarrassed to bring the simplest need to their attention. Neither should we hesitate to bring the simplest requests confidently to the Father. Spread out your requests before God, and then say, "Thy will, not mine, be done."
If Jesus needed to pray - being what He was, how much more we need to pray - being what we are. Prayer is like riding a bicycle or swimming. You learn by doing. Prayer is basically talking with God. It is simply expressing your heart and spending time with Him. It is not a one way activity, God speaks, we listen, we speak and God listens to our hearts. Prayer can be exciting, powerful and fulfilling.

Matthew 7:7-8
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
Phillipians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
